Good news today for Breaking Bad fans. According to Deadline Hollywood, after prolonged talks, and a little bit of worrying, AMC has green-lit the final season of noir television at its finest. Now let’s all just hope that it has the glorious ending that only noir can provide.
Speaking of baddies… did you manage to catch Rufus Sewell as Aurelio Zen? The man who hounded Zen as Ernesto Huber, Michael McElhatton, has been added to the cast of HBO’s fantasy epic The Game of Thrones as intimidating noble lord, Roose Bolton. But I Doubt there will be an Armani wardrobe for him there…via Entertainment Weekly.
Via TV Line, In TV Crime, it looks like Beckett and Castle are going to have a rough go of it in the next season. There is a new chief in town named Victoria “Iron” Gates who is played by Penny Johnson, formerly of 24. Apparently the actor is describing the character as a bit of a hardass, only not in so few words. Of course, a no BS police chief is bound to wonder what it is that Richard Castle does besides get in the way, but we will have to see.
